For today’s shave I went back to a Feather blade. This is what I use in my BBS-1 with great results, so I decided I would go back to it in the WR2. The results I achieved with regards to efficiency were much improved over the Gillette Nacet blade I used yesterday. My shave lasted much longer today than it did yesterday, and I was able to feel when I had the correct angle while shaving today much easier as well. I need to make sure I use the correct angle instead of pressure. I gave myself a little irritation on either side of my Adam’s apple today from using too much pressure, but other than that the shave was excellent and continued to be very smooth. The WR2 seems to have a somewhat narrow effective angle, so I’m going to continue to use the WR2 exclusively to see if I can continue to get improved results.

Like every Wolfman razor I own or have shaved with The WR2 has a small sweet spot. Once found it's shaving nirvana! The WR2 is smoother than the WR1 when comparing standard gap to standard gap and efficiency is elevated a bit as well.

WR-2 DC Day 5
I'm trying to reach seven consecutive days of shaving, which I never do. I could tell my face needed a little break today, so I went with the SB 1.05 side only. Two passes and a little cleanup. It's not as close of a shave as the previous days, but not bad at all. Today's shave enhanced the differences between the OC and SB in different gaps. To me, the SB 1.05 side has minimal blade feel. I think my face will recoup enough to go back to the OC 1.15 tomorrow.
In other news, I don't use synthetic brushes often, but this CH2 synth is a LATHER MACHINE. It has become my go-to soap sample brush.

DanLaw my findings mirror those of Dragonsbeard. The Razor seems to have a narrow window, but when you find it the shave is beautiful- smooth and efficient.
I started out the first few shaves riding the top cap, but the last two shaves I’ve had better luck riding the Safety Bar and adjusting my angle to try and hit the sweet spot. This is a super smooth shaver, that’s my biggest takeaway with this Razor so far. I’m excited to continue putting it through it’s paces.

Day 6
Last night, I realized that shave day #6 is actually shave day #7, since I shaved with a Feather AC DX the day before I received the WR-2. So, seven days of comfortable shaves in a row is mission accomplished, but I'm still going to use the WR-2 one more day (for a solid week with it) before I take a day off.
Today was OC first pass, SB second pass, OC cleanup. The combination of the GD mallard, PdP balm and ultra smooth razor makes me feel like I could probably shave another seven days in a row with this setup and feel just fine. I will wrap this up tomorrow and quit boring you guys with these daily posts, but this has been the smoothest shaving week that I can recall.

Thanks. I think this razor is perfect for a daily shaver. Smooth and efficient. I hope you get one...good luck!
