If Wolfman WR1 suggest 0,54 in in DC (maybe 0,61 but think too much having owned all discussed here). If WR2 and people correct re similarity to BBS1, suggest 0,95DC going to be close but maybe a step too aggressive; like me you probably want James to make one step milder an option for every day or new blades. BTW, find all James' razors a bit too aggressive for Polsilvers and everyday, may want to try a Timor, find work really well for those of us seeking less bitey shaves.

My daily driver is a Timeless .68 SS with DC OC and SB which I enjoy very much. I also have the .95 DC with OC and Scallop base which is great for  2-3 days growth but too much for daily use as I shave almost everyday. The blades I use are Polsilver (most often) , Feather and on occasion -  Kai.  I do a 3 pass shave WTG, AGT and XTG and get a DFS and every so often a BBS. I  use the OC for the first pass and the SB for the 2nd and 3rd pass. I would like the gap to be more efficient than the Timeless .68 DC and less aggressive then the Timeless .95 DC. Thinking of the SS DC with either 1.05 or 1.15 on the OC and .95 or 1.05 on the SB.  Thanks in advance for any insight.....

I have an incoming WR-2 DC with a 1.15OC and a 1.05SB. Like you, I mainly use Polsilvers. I'll let you know what I think when I get it. It was from the last drop, so it might be a little wait.

Timeless 0.68 OC was my favorite DE as well.

I had only two shaves in my new WR2 but finds the 0.95 very similar to the 0.68, being the Wolfman more smooth and comfortable.

Per James and owners of both BBS1 and WR2 in 0,95, reports indicate they are almost equal in shave properties despite BBS1 having a larger gap (apparently there is more to shave feel than gap,eh?).  Of course have yet to try 0,95 WR2 and hoping you will let me take a spin on yours Sean but that is the consensus of what read to date on various fora

One shave in and I'm already thinking that this lives up to the hype.

Very sweet. Once you’ve put the razor through it’s paces can you comment on the gap choice and OC vs SB? Enjoy!

Yeah, I'm going to use only this razor for the next week or so and see how it goes.

Day 2...

Yesterday, I used the OC (1.15) for two passes and the SB (1.05) for a third pass and light cleanup. I very rarely do three passes. I am mainly a Feather AC DX guy, which is ultra aggressive, but gives me the closest shaves. The WR-2 DC with three passes gave me just as smooth as a shave and with little to no irritation, though I couldn't make a habit out of three passes. My face would revolt.

Anyhow, I went with two passes this morning. The first OC and the second SB. It was a terrific shave with no irritation. I think I made the right choice with the DC. On days when my face is feeling tough, I might use only the OC side and vice versa when my face feels a little vulnerable. I'm going to try the two pass shave for as many days as I can stand it then, when I feel like I need a break, see if I can squeeze one last shave out using only the SB side. I think this razor could be my perfect daily driver.
