If you paid with Paypal you have 180 days to request a refund. First contact Classic and try to cancel your order. If that fails you can open up a claim with Paypal. You will get your money back.


What are your thoughts on this slantman?  I’m not really feeling this razor after I pulled the trigger on the preorder.

It looks like a nice razor but I am not buying Chinese razors. The price has been increased to $119 with a suggested retail price of $195. Now a production problem. If any body paid with Paypal you have nothing to worry about.

The delay was we expected manufacturing to have them to us nearly 2 weeks ago. We will be receiving them today or tomorrow. We have to Die (thread) each post head. We will work through the weekend doing that and QA/QC of the goods.

We modified the head so it should work with Schieck Proline. I HAVE NOT SEEN OR TESTED THE NEWEST HEAD. I will today or tomorrow and report back. I will also test shave and report back maybe even video...

If you want a refund don't file a PayPal dispute just let Customer Service know... We will and have always been easy to work with.

Can't imagine a more reasonable response - personally, I'm sticking with this to see how the razor shaves - if it's close to the cobra classic it will have been worth it....

For anyone here who has never been through a purchase and sale with us or a product launch I wanted to give you some reassurances.

They also had a small setback with the original Occam's Razor when it was under production as well. These things happen from time to time and especially when you are incurring with machining & finishing overseas. Probably could have received the intial batch of near production prototypes and they could be off on a couple of things once CS went through a thorough check. It could be a few other variables as well.

Thing is that they came through with the Occam's after a 2-3 month delay. They'll get this straightened out and cleared. I'd rather wait a bit more and get a solid product than just receive one that was just thrown out there to the masses with inferior quality just to meet a deadline.

No biggie honestly..... That's just me though.

Edit: I didn't see the posts before I posted mine from Luke Webster. Solid answer and very reasonable explanation. My apologies.....

Here are a couple of updates...

1.0 I am getting a few email from those that cancelled after being told the Schiek Proline would not work with this razor.  When we first heard this we redesigned the head for this razor (and a new head for other's Occam's etc) so the new parts coming should now work with Proline. We did this redesign in the middle of production... That was a bad idea but I wanted it to work with all blades and thought we would make the timeline still. My hope is that the short delay will be worth it.  I will test them today or tomorrow and video/pics of a shave.  If it works great anyone that cancelled will be able to purchase at the original price point.  

2.0 Missing our production timeline.  I honestly was thinking this was an easy slam dunk to make.  FML I thought we would have shipped by now and baked in a few weeks for a buffer.  I am going to make that up to everyone as we ship products. Any of our Kickstarter people know we give bonuses... That is all i will say.  Sorry they are not shipped by the end of August. 

3.0 I want to be as available as I can in a shaving forum where I can give useful feedback and help / answer questions.  I am a newb at this type of interaction so I welcome general questions for myself or TGN here or on another thread (if that is more appropriate).  I will do my best to get back ASAP.
