Thanks for organizing this giveaway - and for all of your videos. Whenever I wonder about a product, I turn to you first.

My favorite piece of gear is my Gillette Super Speed Red Tip (A4-1955). I'm still a relative newcomer to the world of traditional shaving and this was my first vintage buy. Its not perfect - it shows its age. It Could use a replating and a spot of red paint, but there's just something about holding it in my hand. Even when I'm using another razor in my rotation, I find myself picking it up and working the butterfly mechanism just to see it in action. It helps me feel connected not only to the traditions of shaving but also to a time when everyone cared more about the common everyday tools they manufactured and used. My Red Tip has been vigorously used and not only by me, but it has not been used up, and I'm grateful to have it in my den.

Thanks again-

Thanks for sharing.  My favorite gear is my first wet shaving purchase; an early 1940's fat handled tech.  It's twice as old as I am and will probably outlast me.  There's just something amazing about that.

Great way to drum up interest in the upcoming videos, as well as a damn fine community.

As for my favorite piece of gear in my kit, I have two separate pieces that work together so I can't really separate them. These are quite rare peices. In tandem, they give me feedback on every part of my shave. If my lather isn't thick enough, I know before I pick up my razor. If my shave isn't close enough, it will let me know. Even after the shave these peices keep working. If my aftershave is applied too heavy and its overpowering, if there is too much irritation and I should use something more cooling, even if I could use more moisturizing or should take a day off of shaving, this gear lets me know.

Yes, sir, I don't know what I'd do if it weren't for my son, my little shaving buddy, and my beautiful wife, my official face feeler.

My most prized shave item would have to be my Plisson.  It does not get many days off since I got it.  Thanks Chris for making it almost impossible not to try one I love it.

My favorite piece of shave gear is my ikon 101 razor. It is one of two razors I own and the only one that is nickel free. I have a nickel allergy and this razor doesnt give me any irritation so that is why it is my favorite piece of razor gear. It gives me an irritation free, close shave too which is just an awesome bonus.

Thank you Chris for your time and generosity.  Watching your videos has been very helpful.  My favorite piece of gear is my Semogue 1250 brush.  It was great out of the box and helped me get great shaves as a new wet shaver tooling up his den.  The brush quickly broke in, no longer requires soaking and has produced excellent lather from hard soaps to creams.  My brush has allowed me to focus on learning my razor, building lather and shave technique.  I'm sure I will add other brushes down the road, but I will never outgrow the brush that got me started.

Hi
Most expensive gear I have is 250 rs butterfly de safety razor that's like 4$
Haha
Well in India we don't have this shaving gear so really you can't buy anything unless obviously you decide to buy it and do an international shipping
Which will make a product 3-4 times expensive
So as I have just moved to traditional wet shaving
A kit would be perfect for me
Thanks
Cheers

Hi, thanks for the opportunity on this great giveaway. I've been DE shaving for 3 months now,I love it.My most favorite shaving item is a Gillette "Fatboy" that I found and bough at flea market a few weeks ago,my first buying and restoring vintage razors (it wasn't planned,I just came across it) and during cleaning and polishing, holding it in my hands I realized that it's the same type of razor that my father used back in his thirties. I remember when I was a little kid whenever I would go in the bathroom I would grab that razor and play with it.Sadly my father passed away 5 years ago and I can't talk with him about it. I've asked my mom if we still have it and she said that she hasn't seen that razor in a long time, doesn't know what happened with it, lately he was using cartridge razors to shave
When he was using the Fatboy he used Tabac as his soap and Old Spice aftershave ,so Tabac and Old Spice are items that I love,it reminds me of him. He used to shave every Sunday morning before church and when you would walk by the bathroom you would smell the soap, just an awesome scent.
Thanks again for the giveaway, good luck to all
BTW, love your videos? Keep them coming

My favorite gear is probably my 7 day straight razor set. they are carbomagntic straight razors and they are beautiful. They are from the late 1800s to the early 1900s I think.
