Thanks for the videos TSE!
My favorite shaving gear is this old brush pictured in my profile picture. It was my father's old brush, he passed away back in 89 and I just found it about 6 months ago wile looking for some other stuff.
It got me thinking about wet shaving. I tried it and haven't looked back since. I had no idea there was such a big wet shaving community out there till I started looking up how to videos!
I prefer my Semogue boar brush but I still use the old man's nylon brush once in a wile.
PS: LeeRoy is a STAR! LOL

Thanks to TSE for putting on this giveaway, great way to give back to the community!

I have two favorite pieces of gear:  my Merkur 25c and my tub of Soap Commander Respect soap. The 25c is my first (and only) razor; it's been a great beginner razor for me, and I appreciate that it's not a particularly common razor. Similarly, the SCR was my first artisan soap, and it really got me into the artisan soap world. I love the performance and the scent, but most of all I appreciate Soap Commander's commitment to its customers. Ultimately, these two items reflect what I love so much about wet shaving:  the intersection of a masculine tradition with a contemporary commitment to fellowship.

thanks for a giveaway, very nice of you Smile

I use straights (mainly weekend-ish) and DEs  (work week-ish). The combo I like the most is a Muller R41 (Feather combo) and a Semogue SOC2 (some other backboney brush does the trick as well Smile ). Soaps.. hmmm I like all knids of soaps I prefer tallow, heavy, thick leather soaps,...

Thanks for the giveaway, I appreciate the opportunity!

My favorite piece of shaving equipment is the Mastro Livi straight my wife bought me for our anniversary. She thinks this hobby is a little crazy but that makes the gift that much more special.

Hey Chris,

Once again great video by you and Leroy!

For me my most prized Wet Shaving possession is a Gold Dollar 66 that was given to me as a gift from one of my coworkers. He was the first person to talk to me about Wet Shaving and really helped fuel my passion for this hobby. Its pretty beat up but I'll never get rid of it as it holds that special place in my den!

Mine is my Grandad's 1966 Gillette Slim Adjustable. Just started out DE shaving and I said to my Dad about a month ago now I was interested in it and that I was going to buy a DE razor. Later that day he called into my house and handed me my Grandad's razor. I was lost for words as I have watched my Grandad and my Dad use this razor and now myself. And I hope to pass it on to my son some day. So this razor is special to me and when I use it I feel proud and feel some sort of history with it. Hope my Grandad is watching somewhere with a smile on his face because his razor puts a smile on mine.

I've put off replying because I was trying to think what is my most important piece of kit. After much deliberation it has to be my Col. Conk mixed hair brush. This brush has continued to perform time and again. It has tackled every cream or soap I put it to! Great splay and good backbone it whips up a great lather best of both worlds. An underrated brush IMO.
