I was able to order a WR2 1.25 DC brushed finish head with my the WRH3 96mm hollow handle. I am bouncing off the walls! After reading that review, I am certain that I made the right choice in gap. James actually sent me an email asking if I was sure that I wanted that gap as it is the most aggressive he makes. I responded, DEFINITELY!! I love aggressive razors but after seeing LOOT’s review, I am salivating on this one and I think it might be the last razor I purchase for a long time!!

Congrats. I believe you will love it...but there is nothing aggressive about the WR2. Efficient is a better word, for me. There are only a few razors I would describe as aggressive, with a harsh feel on the face (Ikon Tech, 2011 R41). The WR2 is very soft on the face, the SB more so than the OC, for me.
I figured that and thanks for confirming it for me. I would say the most aggressive razor I own is the PAA DOC Evolution with a Feather blade. Love that razor but I use a PolSilver to tame it a bit. I kind of felt that this new WR2 head would still be pretty mellow but highly efficient in it’s largest gap so that is exactly what I shot for. So glad to hear from you that I chose the right option and I did a DC because of the love I have for an OC as much as I love an aggressive SB. The true Wolfman that I have kept other than the OC Guerilla is a WR1 DC .74 and I tend to use my Charcoal Goods L3 DC and Timeless .95 DC more than the WR1 these days so really looking forward to this one. I think after getting the Raw Shaving RS-10 and now this WR2, I am DONE buying razors for a while. I’m also done on the SE side of things with the Paradigm and Vector. I think I have reached that end game point....until something else peaks my interest!
Again, thanks for the confirmation on this! Can’t wait to have it in my hands!
