James actually sent me an email asking if I was sure that I wanted that gap as it is the most aggressive he makes. I responded, DEFINITELY!! I love aggressive razors but after seeing LOOT’s review, I am salivating on this one and I think it might be the last razor I purchase for a long time!!

Congrats. I believe you will love it...but there is nothing aggressive about the WR2. Efficient is a better word, for me. There are only a few razors I would describe as aggressive, with a harsh feel on the face (Ikon Tech, 2011 R41). The WR2 is very soft on the face, the SB more so than the OC, for me.

I figured that and thanks for confirming it for me. I would say the most aggressive razor I own is the PAA DOC Evolution with a Feather blade. Love that razor but I use a PolSilver to tame it a bit. I kind of felt that this new WR2 head would still be pretty mellow but highly efficient in it’s largest gap so that is exactly what I shot for. So glad to hear from you that I chose the right option and I did a DC because of the love I have for an OC as much as I love an aggressive SB. The true Wolfman that I have kept other than the OC Guerilla is a WR1 DC .74 and I tend to use my Charcoal Goods L3 DC and Timeless .95 DC more than the WR1 these days so really looking forward to this one. I think after getting the Raw Shaving RS-10 and now this WR2, I am DONE buying razors for a while. I’m also done on the SE side of things with the Paradigm and Vector. I think I have reached that end game point....until something else peaks my interest!
Again, thanks for the confirmation on this! Can’t wait to have it in my hands!

Love the pics!! Does anyone have a brushed finish WR2 yet that can post some pics? I ordered the brushed finish because nobody does a brushed stainless steel finish better than James and I have always preferred brushed SS more than polished. Really looking forward to seeing that. It seems that everyone is ordering a polished finish because that was what the original BBS-1 had. Anyone?

Second shave, SB only, with the WR2-125DC was just as fantastic as the first.  20 hours after my first shave I had very little stubble to deal with.  The WR2 knocked out in the first pass but I had plenty of lather so I kept going.  It's exceptionally smooth. It just cruises along only making noise when it crosses something to cut.  Blade feel is ever present but really unassuming.

After yesterdays shave my skin felt different than the WR1.  I thought it was the soap but it's back with DG products.  It seems to leave my skin softer for some reason.  More testing required to confirm.  Anyone else notice a different post shave skin feel from the WR1/WR2?  I need to let my beard grow and run it against the WR1-86 for a direct comparison.

You have GOT to try some Grooming Dept. Soaps. Your skin will truly thank you! Love hearing about the 1.25 gap.

Which blade gap would you advise for the WR2 with the polsilver (my go to blade) blade to shave close to the WR1. 74 in terms of blade feel and efficiency?

Does anyone have picture of a wr2 with wrh3 and wrh7 handle they could post? Debating if I should try to change my order from 7 to 3.

James has pics on his site with the WR2 and all of his handles. Go to the photos section.
