I used the #2 plate of the 3 and will go to #3 for the next shave. It's a hefty razor for sure and I am thankful to be able to try it, but on first impression it's not going to dethrone  my 1912s or 1914.

Single Edge /Pella blade (1 )
Semogue 830 boar
AOS sandalwood soap  (tallow )
Witch hazel
Speick AS
Polo black edc
I have heard great things about it. What is your Injector experience prior to trying it? And dethroning a shaving master such as the 1912 would be difficult

Jeff, I didn't buy them but I think I will stop by this week all in the name of Science.  At 1.49 its not much of a risk.   Smile

Hi Rob, I can't remember what it said but I will stop by this week and purchase them just to find out. I just did a little research online but didn't find a lot.

I2 Hydro-magic +(trimmed) Feather AC Pro. Because it works. Really, really well. Wasn't at all difficult inserting the blade on the left side with the key in the right. No need to hack the I2. Smooooth.

Glad they worked out for you.  I have quite a few injector blades to use but Amazon has the Feather Artist Club Professional Blade (20 for $12.00 as of today) and that is quite a bit cheaper than the Chick blades.  Have you tried to load them using an empty or partially full injector bank with the key in after trimming the length down or are they slightly wider as well?  Thanks.

I tried and found it easier getting the blade directly into the razor than into the blade magazine. Attempting the latter I seem to always scrape the edge. Some have said you can take apart an old magazine and put the blades in easily but I haven't figured that one out.

4th SEptember Shave
Proraso Green Pre/Post
Vintage Rubberset Handle with 24mm Maggards Plissoft Knot
I Coloniali
GEM Micromatic Open Comb
Gem stainless steel PTFE (Shave 5)
Thayers Superhazel with Proraso Green Pre/post followed with Proraso/Osage Rub splash

The MMOC is pretty aggressive, more than I remembered it to be. Fantastic Shave.... The I Coloniali Performance is top notch. This Blade feels like most recent Blades felt after the 3rd(of 6) Shave. Going to see how far this one will go.
