SEptember Shave 3

GEM Bullet Tip - GEM PTFE (1)
Razorock Plissoft 24mm Bruce Handle
Razorock Morrocan Secret
T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Lucky Tiger Aftershave & Face Tonic

Really close shave today. Did get some irritation in my normal problem area. I'm right handed and I have trouble with basically about a 1-1.5 inch area from my jawbone under my left ear down to and including my neckline. My whiskers grow sideway there toward my ear.
I figure this is when my arm is stretched over the most and I may be getting the angle off and/or to much pressure or maybe I just can't go ATG there. If I could get that area figured out I would be a happy camper.

I've been using the ATT SE1 that I got from Freddie in a trade.

It's really nice. Especially like being able to use different handles.

Need to try a different blade with it but they last so long I am not in any hurry to.

Compared to the Cobras it's much more forgiving while being just as effective. Nice compact profile and balance. I have to give Stan credit. He did great with this one.

I have not been in love with the DE heads from ATT as the Mild and Regular plates I have both feel a little harsh to me. The single edge head is just my speed though.

Today will be shave #18 with the blade in my ER '24. No doubt I'll use Frostbite soap and AS, and my brush will be a Simpsons Classic synth'.

I don't post my SOTD anymore because I use mostly my products and it's just boring beyond belief to post (and read) mostly the same things day after day. But I'm here doing the SEptember shave regimen with you all. But for me I don't even need to think about it. My hand just naturally reaches for the ER '24.

The ER '24 is a great razor ShadowsDad. Like you, I've found that I only like to use it with a well broken-in blade. I've tried it with a brand new blade and it was a tad harsh.

Been using my MMOC and Featherweight, but yesterday got a Pal Adjustable in a pass-around and used it today. Just used the lowest setting and got a very nice shave. Will try a higher setting tomorrow

SEptember Shave 4

GEM Featherweight
Shave Revolution 24mm Synthetic
Mickey Lee Soapworks Cape Verde
T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Aqua Velva Ice Blue
Nivea Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm

I was in Hy-Vee (Super Market here in the Midwest) and I just happened down the shaving aisle. I saw a pack of 10 SE blades for $1.49 and they say stainless steel. CVS wants I believe $4.79 and I understood these to be the carbon blade. When I bought the razors from Doug he sent me 6 Gem PTFE coated blades and I ordered 100 from Connaught just in case of a shaving blade apocalypse Big Grin so I don't need blades but just curious if anyone knows what brand they may be. Thanks.

I've never seen those before Wolverine. Is there anything stamped on the spine of the blade?

I got to use The Single Edge for the first time tonight thanks to a passaround offered from a member of the other forum. I used the #2 plate of the 3 and will go to #3 for the next shave. It's a hefty razor for sure and I am thankful to be able to try it, but on first impression it's not going to dethrone  my 1912s or 1914.

Single Edge /Pella blade (1 )
Semogue 830 boar
AOS sandalwood soap  (tallow )
Witch hazel
Speick AS
Polo black edc

Is there anything on the backside of that "Le Techniq" single edge blades package, Wolverine ? Does it say anywhere on there where the blades were manufactured? They don't look familiar to me at 1st glance.
