Great shave tonight.

Maggards 24mm synthetic

TABAC

Treet SE (first use)

T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel

Dollar General Classic Aftershave (Brut)
How did the razor "Treet" you?

It Treeted me very nicely.  I have now tried 4 of the 5 razors that I just got.  Only one left to try is the Eveready Shovel Head.  I have gotten some of my best shaves on the first use with the Featherweight, GEM Jr and the Treet.  I did nick myself with the Bullet Tip.  I'm not the smartest man walking the planet but I assume this might be because I really took my time with each one on the first use. Subsequent shaves I 've gone faster and while I still have gotten good shaves they were a notch below the first one.  I need to slow down and work on my technique.

Thanks for joining us here! Great shaves. Nice looking razors too. Enjoy your SEptember.

PS. Gorgeous brushes

Thanks, whiteboy_cannon !

The ATT SE1 is probably my best overall shaver for me. The Single Edge is a modern stainless injector and to me that's just awesome. The brush is a Vie Long Silvertip Beehive from BullGoose. I think it was a BullGoose exclusive. It has a fairly dense short loft knot with feathery soft tips. I really love my 2-Band badger brushes, but I still enjoy this brush a lot. It's a good face latherer and since I face lather 99% of the time, it fits in well.

I should be able to stick with the SE's for the month, because I shaved for a large part of last year with injectors. You might even see some Gem/Ever-Ready razors that I've been thinking about breaking out again. Happy

Enjoy your SE shaves!

SEptember 3rd
Proraso Green Pre/Post
Mozingo Brushes 24mm Synthetic by Cousin-Eddie
Chiseled Face Summer Storm
Pat App'd for Ever Ready 1924 shovel head travel set
Gem stainless steel PTFE (Shave 4)
Thayers Superhazel with Proraso Green Pre/post followed with Proraso/Osage Rub splash

What a Fantastic razor. Definitely tops my list. BBS with only 2 Passes + Touch-up in normal spots on 2 Days Growth. This blade is holding up the best of them all(that I've used) so far. It very well could blow past my typical max shave of now 6. Just a perfect day here to use Summer Storm, actually Pre Storm but we could get a couple days of Rain.

SOTD-05sep16:
GEM Featherweight / GEM PTFE
Stirling Soap Co. 24mm Finest Shaving Brush
Mike's Natural Soaps Bay Rum Shaving Soap
St. Charles Shave Bay Rum With a Twist Aftershave Milk

So, I believe this razor was NOS.  I picked it up on eBay and it didn't have any evidence of use.  It had a blade loaded and one missing from the blade dispenser.  I'm not sure what the date of manufacture is on this razor, as I can't seem to find much by way of history on this one.  I ended up with a very close 3 pass shave and might carry on with this one for a few shaves to get used to it a little better.  I am using a modern GEM PTFE stainless blade for my shaves.

Gem MMOC & Gem Stainless

My last two shaves (3/9 & 4/9) where with the Gem MMOC. An excellent shaver and a great blade.
