The Feather Pros and Schick Prolines aren't cutting it for me in this razor. It's a very beautiful and smooth razor. It's just not that efficient to me IMO. My beard grows crazy fast after shaving with this razor. I have a lot of stubble growing back only 5 hours later.
I had the same problem with the Colonial General SS, RR Hawk V2, and Ikon MR-SE.
This is the kinda reply that drives people crazy but go with me on this......
So I absolutely love the paradigm Ti2. I was lucky enough to get one when my buddy flipped it for being too mild.
When I first shaved with it I agreed with his assessment and found the shave smooth and ineffective. But I loved the ergonomics and the stroke of the razor on the face. So I kept at and I dialled in the razor by very subtle micro muscle memory adjustment.
I am not saying your technique is bad or anything. What I am saying is you could try a month of shaves to really dial in the razor.
For some this wouldn’t be worth the hassle or money. But perhaps the Gem style angle, lack of blade feel and butter smooth face stroke are taking a little adjustment as I went through with the Ti 2?

You could very well in correct. My gold standard razor is the Ikon Tech DE razor, arguably the most aggressive and unforgiving DE razor. I have shaved with mild and mid-aggressive razors preferring the more aggressive counterparts.
I still have and occasionally rotate the Paradigm 17-4, which is both smooth and has equally balanced efficiency. Another razor that falls in line is the Rex Ambassador adjustable.
I am hoping the Feather Super I first shaved with were defective. It was not smooth one bit nor efficient. I have shaved with Supers before and did not have these issues. Hopefully it is nothing. I think the fit, finish, and craftsmanship of the Paradigm SE is excellent. Now all I desire is an equally smooth and efficient shave.
