There are like half a dozen dimensions, but it is a press fit ball nose spring plunger.
There's really nothing to sweat on the detents. They don't gum up, they won't wear away the cap or something. Springs don't last forever, but if you need to replace one, it's a four buck part. McMaster Carr #1368A11 is the part number. The razor breaks right down with a hex wrench, and the detents can be pushed right out and replaced. It takes like two minutes.

Agreed. I was concerned but researched the issue and even spoke with Andy. I came to the conclusion that it was not an issue to be concerned about. I purchased the razor. If I had any doubts I wouldn't have actually bought one!

I'd love to see Andy bring back the original Ti 1 only in a polished version. ( I'd take it in matte or polished ) It would be my ultimate Paradigm. I've shaved with them all except the new SE which I will shortly . What I loved about the Ti 1 is it's to me the most efficient Paradigm of them all and yet so maneuverable and with good technique a very smooth shaver. Sad there's only like 50 of them out there. I know at least 6 wet shavers along with myself that would buy one in a NY minute if Andy ever brings it back. Sorry the rant! I had to get that out!
