Just added a Charcoal Goods Hammered Handle to my Brass General. Crazy Heft. It's awesome.
Charcoal Goods Hammered Handle - Brass
I currently have my SS General en route to North Shore Razors for coating (Cerakote). The handle i'm using for the SS General is the ATT Kronos. Great Combo.
Curious what Colonial has up their sleeve with the new General 2.0.

Funny you should say that. There was a post on one of the other forums from a member stating that he had a conversation with one of the brothers at Colonial via Facebook and that there was an about face concerning the General 2.0. They were so amazed at the new look which was sleek and modern plus enhancements for better grip to the handle that they decided it was worth going through with it. They are still waiting for the prototype which is believed to be in their hands sometime in May. So, hopefully this razor could be available in the very near future. Like I said, all based supposedly on a conversation between a shave forum member and Colonial Razors. I hope it's true....
Fingers crossed.......
Confirmed. It will be a reality soon enough. The General V2.0 is definitely in the mix alongside their new DE release. It’s all about machining time and getting the prototypes done and inching closer to a presentation. I think it’s safe to assume that the New General will be available very soon in the near future. Can’t wait to see their new General offering......
