I find them really easy to load. I was in Manhattan for work two days last week and they are great for travel. I never travel with CRSW/Mike's type containers. Just too much for quick trips.

Just thought to post as the soap really impressed me and I had totally overlooked them!

I have only tried the Rustic version and I enjoy it very much. I want to try the Formula T and other scents but there are so many other soaps I have not tried yet.  That its always a conflict for me.

My first big soap purchase was from Stirling and I got quite a few samples and a few full pucks (no metal tins-which were offered at the time).  I went out and bought some pyrex and anchor bowls.  I just transferred about a 1/4 of the WSP puck to a pyrex bowl and use that.  Now I almost wish more places offered puck only options at a slightly reduced rate as that is my preference.

I also see that WSP has Citrus blast which looks the same as the vegan version but also has Shea butter.  I might get that one next.

Has anyone tried both the tallow and vegan version and is there any noticeable difference?

I found the tallow slightly better. However, I sold all my WSP soaps. Tins are super tiny...I found it hard to load.

I really enjoy WSP soaps, especially the Tobacco in Formula T. I have used the rustic formula before, and it is a winner as well. it loads very fast and easy, making the tub last for a very long time.

Welcome to the forum, mitchcumsteen.

I was recently looking at WSP soaps, and I noticed that Maggard Razors’ selection was quite a bit broader than what WSP offers at their own site right now. Just an observation. (And this is yet another soap brand to add to my “try this” list…)

WSP offers excellent performing soap. Elite? That’s up to the individual and what they are looking for in a soap. You want a rich, thick and creamy lather with a healthy dose of slickness? Here it is. Post shave feel is well above average though, for my skin it can leave me a bit dry at times. It’s still a wonderfully made soap that will last ages. Small tins? Really? Maybe a slight inconvenience but, aren’t we just nitpicking here? It performs at nearly the highest levels in all shave facets/requirements and they offer excellent scents across the range. A well underrated soap in the price/performance ratio.

BlackBeard, it’s awesome…..

I prefer larger containers so I just moved the Formula T into one of the many empties I have.

Hot hair dryer loosened the label and it was moved as well.

And now I find Formula T to be a more satisfactory soap.

WSP is a superior scent crafter and the soaps are very serviceable. A good bang for your buck. I particularly like Formula T Tobacco and Olympus. One other note--the matching aftershaves are good as well. I really should use these products more often.

Here I am back after my comments in 2017….opinion altered.

Top notch soap. I’m also going to move mine to a bigger container.

Ruds Shaves gave Wet Shaving Products Formula T a score of 77, which I think is unfairly low. In my ratings, I would give it an 85, which would mean it is an average soap. It certainly does not match the performance of the best premium artisan soaps out there, but it is not priced like a premium soap.

WSP does a good job with many of the scents. Some of my favorites are Blackbeard, Gaelic Tweed, and Olympus.
