You guys may love it. The finish on the razor (tumbled look) is great. It’s just for the money I spent ($240ish USD) the shave wasn’t “worth” the cost.

I don’t look at myself as a collector but a user. What I LOVE today may be listed tomorrow to find the next best thing! I wish I wasn’t like that but I am!

First shave this morning using a Personna Lab Blue was excellent. My opinion is much different then others who may find this razor too mild. As you may know I like fairly aggressive razors but that is not what shaving is about. Its a routine most of us do every day. I have been shaving since the 50s so I have seen everything they can throw at us. The Guerrilla has a fairly small gap (by today's standard) but I detected some positive blade exposure. The razor is as smooth as silk but gets the job done in two passes with slight touchup (a habit I have regardless of the razor). Maybe it is the blade Personna Lab Blue (made in America) but I was totally satisfied. The grip even so it has no knurling makes no difference. It's great.
The finish is first class and considering it is a Wolfman razor it is very reasonably priced. So at the moment my two favorite razors is this one and my Lupo SB .95

I have had the new Guerrilla for a week now. During that time I have shaved with it four times switching back and forth twice with one of the original SB Guerrillas. All shaves were with the same Feather blade. I change my blade every Monday regardless of how many shaves are on it.

A couple of things to note. The new Guerrilla loads the blade on the cap instead of the baseplate and the loading posts are much more pronounced. That in itself is enough to make me like the new design better as I hate loading on the baseplate. The new design is also heavier and balances more toward the handle than the original design. Grip is quite good even without any knurling.

I find the new design shave to be quite mild with little blade feel. Angle is quite easy to find and there is very little blade noise. For me the new design shaves very much like a good cartridge razor. It is efficient enough while being very comfortable, you can press as hard as you want with little fear of getting nicked and, if you like to buff to a BBS shave during touch ups, you can do so without irritation.

Compared to the old design, I find the new design more comfortable with less blade noise while also being a lot easier to find and maintain the best cutting angle.

I like wet shaving artisans because of this. They're bringing a variety of choices so you can choose the one that best suits you because one person's mild may be another person's aggressive.

Agreed but if someone was coming here to read reviews and decide if this was for them.......would they know. Just found it funny and no disrespect intended. It happens all the time. Best thing to do is try things for yourself usually to know for sure Happy2

Absolutely correct about clear as mud.  But this hobby has more YMMV than many.  For example, I found the new Guerrilla relatively mild but I cannot shave with a Dart, a razor most everyone seem to really like as a daily driver, without my face ending up in a bloody mess.  I have better luck with a Janus wide open than with the Dart.

I judge "mildness" by my perception of how careful I have to be in using the razor to avoid scrapes and nicks.  With the new Guerrilla I have the perception that, using my shaving technique, it would be very difficult to injure myself so for me the razor is relatively mild. I am sure other rate "mildness" against different criteria.

Absolutely understand agree. By the way, I too didn't fair well with the Dart and I'm accused of liking aggressive razors. Cheers

Well my thread doesn’t tighten all the way so unable to shave with it. Not sure how anyone is shaving with this as the handle is incredibly slippery when wet. The only hope is to hold it by the neck which is weird. I would honestly never reach for this razor.

First off why would you shave with wet hands?  Second is something wrong with the handle or stud threads?
