So many of you guys not only take awesome SOTD photos but it’s also the way you set them up. Dave if you feel like that looking at Tommy’s shave well i’m a bottom dweller compared to you guys.

The Marco method is burning through four grams of soap per shave, creating mountains of lather – but it’s thin and overly foamy from too much water. Some adjustments may be needed. To build the lather, I’ve had to switch to a deep Paul Revere mixing bowl, a wedding gift from over 30 years ago, since my usual Sori Yanagi bowl is too small to contain the overflow. No complaints about the Zenith boar brush. It eats soap like a pig at the trough, and that’s what I got it for.
