Awesome dinner tonight! What you see consists of steak hickory smoked on the grill over top a spinach salad with roasted corn, onions, salt, pepper, and cucumbers, green peppers, cherry tomatoes from the garden and a nice sprinkling of feta cheese. All while enjoying a nice, lightly chilled glass of Moscato. Must be good when a 3 year old loves and eats it all! Well... Minus the Moscato.

Next up, smoores for desert!

I love figs. Spotted these beauties and picked them up at the local market.

Gorgonola + Habanero Honey + Thyme from the garden and we had a fantastic, 5 minute snack.

Hey Jeff, at the local farmers market. We picked up some Lavender honey too which is really great as well!

Fresh figs are to kill for! I've only seen them in Maine once and that was through a wholesaler.

But your blueberries... oh boy, I spent a summer in and around Harrison and must have eaten a metric ton!

Yes, we do have blueberries by the gallon. That's if we can get to them before the birds do.

I love them drizzled with honey or sugar and with some sour cream. The sweetener and SC turns to a sort of clearish sauce (you wouldn't think so) and the flavors blend wonderfully when the berries pop in the mouth.
