I get mine from Ottos deli. It's not easy to get the full Hot Paprika Last I looked Penzies only had 1/2 hot or some such.

It does make a difference. Cayenne just isn't the same.

I never had hot paprika. I'll have to look into it. I just do 1-turn (more or less) on the ghost pepper grinder. That DOES spice things up
My wife and I finished up the paprikash last night. It was very tasty but mild. Next time I'll definitely hot it up somewhat. I have to be considerate of my wife, however, as she isn't as into the to stuff as I am and to be honest, my stomach hasn't been agreeing with the really spicy foods the last few years so just a little hot is how I'll probably do it.
I used to mail order spices from Penzeys all the time but they stopped shipping to Canada a few years back which is really unfortunate. They have great product, selection and prices. There's nothing to match it here now and what you can find is priced stupidly high.

I ordered a few spices from The Spice House and they were delivered today. Some of which included Garam Masala, Tandoori Seasoning, and Hot Curry Powder. Today I made tandoori chicken and curried potatoes. This was the first time I made Indian food that wasn't from a jar sauce and WOW it was tasty. Next time, I'll do half as much on the Garam Masala (or use 2x the potatoes).

That sounds delicious! I love Indian food.
