I'd fix a cheaper razor.
Maggard provides an affordable, attractive entry point to our hobby. Their kits are "all-in-one" solutions with a more than reasonable price tag. However, their heads have long needed attention to alignment issues.
Being the entry point for so many new comers, these highly affordable packages can also be the exiting point for a green wet shaver if they don't understand the mechanics behind blade alignment, or perceive it as being more difficult than it's worth. Fix them, grow the community is my logic. This goes for all entries with alignment issues.
To be fair, the last head I got from Brad was a v2 head.

My understanding is that Maggard did fix the blade alignment issue on their heads. At least that's what they say on the description for the version 3 heads, or maybe just the chrome safety bar one.

An Aluminum or Titanium version of 34C without blade overhand and without blade alignment issue. That would be my dream razor.
Razor heads should not have blade alignment issues at any price point imo. Perhaps that's asking too much of the lower priced tier due to manufacturing costs. However, if Edwin Jagger can get it right and charge as little as they do for a complete razor with handle with an absolute flawless finish, then why can't everyone else? Fortunately I have only owned one razor head that required manual alignment, and that is the Maggard V2 safety bar head.
ATT - I'd make the pins a bit longer and drill deeper recess holes in the base plates to allow the longer pins to fit in the holes a bit deeper. This would make loading a blade a bit easier. I'd also offer a polished version and more upscale handles for purchase. This seems to be the only company that can produce a razor and then actually meet the demand for it in a timely manner.
ATT SE1 - I'd make the pins that hold the blade a bit smaller so that the blades could slide on and off more easily. The one I have now sticks quite a bit. I'd also offer a polished version.
Cobra/King Cobra - I'd make them from stainless instead of plated brass. I'd also offer removable standard thread replaceable handles so that they could be switched out.
Mongoose - I don't care for the handle with this razor. I also expected it to be more aggressive to better utilize the Feather Pro style blades. Too many people are using Feather Super blades in this razor to get it to shave better. It should have been able to accept all of the Feather Style blades right from the start like Dorco blades for example. I wouldn't have released the razor only to make several versions. It seems that enough changes weren't made as a result of the initial testing and development process.
Wolfman/BBS1 - There is nothing wrong with the quality or construction of these razors. The issue is availability. I'd produce more standard razors instead of so much custom stuff. The standard razors would be sold via the web site in a manner that was fair and gave everyone an equal opportunity to own one. Priority would be given to new customers that didn't already own one. The custom stuff would be done at a slower pace via waitlist instead of jamming up the speed of production with the constant machinery changes.
