The bowl and soap look to be in outstanding shape!
As if I didn't already have a problem with shaving soap, now I've discovered a fondness for vintage shaving soaps.
That looks in exceptional NOS condition, Rob. Congratulations.
Not heard of that soap. I'm guessing, like most vintage soaps, there's no ingredients list?
Thank you, David! I don't actually have the soap in my hands yet, but it is supposed to come with the original box. So, maybe there will be an ingredient list. The seller listed it to be from the 1960's, but I had thought it was from the 50's. It is made by Wrisley and I tried a sample of Wrisley soap(from a kind & generous friend) that I found to be excellent. I'm not sure if this is the same, but in this condition and at the purchase price, I couldn't resist.
I will post in the soap and creams sub-forum after I receive it and let you know the details.
PS:
I forgot to mention that I've seen repeated references that Wrisley is re-branded Yardley, but have found no actual proof of that.
