Top synthetics

Stirling Kong. I've used the tuxedo knot and the Muhle type knot. Also had Chubby 2 synthetic which I sold.

The Stirling Kong is indeed great.

Right now I am in love with my APShave Co 2BED synthetic as soft and not excessive in the backbone

I have to agree with the Simpson T3 and Evo. Good performance, and most 'badger like'. The T3's a bargain.

The others that work well for me are the tuxedo knots: the best in my experience are the Wolf Whiskers/Envy Shave Black Wolf knot (if you can't get one from those two, AP Shave Co. has excellent tuxedo knots as well). There are also very inexpensive tux knots that do a good job. Also, the Plissoft type knot is a workhorse: the Stirling Kong that's been mentioned, and the RR Monster are two good and inexpensive examples.

I'm curious how soft the tips are and what kind of back called these have?

since I really haven't bought any brushes in more than a year (i only use synthetics now). This past week I ordered:

Simpsons T3
Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic
Omega Evo Ceramic White
Shavemac Custom Synthetic 26mm (bulb knot)
4 diff Yaqi brushes with Tuxedo Knot (those are the only ones that already got here). 3 are bulb 26mm and one is fan 26mm. This was safe since it was the cheapest and the tuxedo knot is my favorite knot in other brands.

After I receive them (some might take a while, since coming from europe, spain etc) and use them each for a while, i will make a comparisson and pick my favorites.
