Been having a great SEptember so far. This is shave #3 with the Pal Adjustable here on pass-around. Tried the middle setting, and the shave was okay. I think I preferred the lower settings, but this shave was still fairly good

Unlike my I2, the G3 was too tight to slide in a trimmed Feather AC, so I settled for a 65 year old PAL blade which I usually relegate to empty razor loading only. Surprisingly still got a BBS shave, albeit with more work (I'm guessing) than the Feather would have been.

I have an L, a J, and a G8. I use them occasionally, it's my accumulation of razors and the price that will preclude my purchase of one. I agree about the 1912 totally.

The GEM Featherweight has been working very well for me. This week has been my 1st try with this razor. It feels fairly mild, but still very efficient. I've used some of the GEM style SE's in the past, but not for more than a shave or two. I guess I just have a short attention span. Rolleyes

I began the process of narrowing my SE collection down to razors that work for me. I started by choosing duplicates and throwing them out to Wolverine's WTB post. Little did I know he was ready to go all in with both feet and he took them all+. Thanks Scott, really cool to see you going through and trying each of them. I've also been working on doing the same for my DE's, but SEptember is just what I needed to focus on my SE's and get to use some that I haven't used, or used very little to see which will be the keepers.

I've had my Best Shave(Ever) with an Injector, and I've had my Worse Shave with one, the not so good shaves outnumbered the good ones so they have been out of the rotation to return one day for another shot. Tonight's shave was another first run and another Fantastic Shave. This PAL Adjustable has always been one I wanted to try. I don't even remember when I purchased it, but I'm really glad I pulled her out. Since I haven't shaved with it yet I went with the second setting and found it to work very well. I really like the weight, balance, and the longer handle. Just a Great shave all around.

I've been using a Pal Adjustable this week and find I like the lower settings, even though I usually like fairly aggressive razors

Are there 3 or 5 settings on the PAL.
