The GEM Junior may be my new favorite single edge razor. I hope the MMOC doesn't get jealous.

Got another great shave with the Schick 66 and Chick blade today. But I did notice the shave wasn't as close today as it has been the past few days. I'm assuming that is because it was the 6th use of the Chick blade. It was still smooth, just not as close.

I know everyone is different, and the whole "YMMV", but how many shaves do you generally get with a Chick or any injector blade?

Once I purchased this adjustable from andrewjs18, in one of our B/S/Ts, it quickly became my favorite Schick Injector and my E (or is it possibly G) and I-2 rarely see the light of day.

If I keep track, ~10 or so. One time I lost count and just kept going. I'm guessing that blade had between 15-20 shaves as I lost count I think around 5 then had 10 more. The last few shaves were not bad, but like you just described, not as close.

THanks whiteboy_cannon ...I used it again today (7th use) and got a slightly better shave than yesterday. At this rate, it will likely be a 10 to 12 use blade for me.

They do last quite a long time which is nice since they cost more
