I also have the Model S with the gold dial somewhere between Turkey and North Carolina, with a few extra goodies. While I like the Zaratsu polish on the top cap, I'm a mirror guy, so Murat made an additional cap for the protoype. So, a little different than the other 3. With any luck, I'll snag one of the titanium prototypes. *fingers crossed*
Is that a prototype? It looks like the 2020 without the gold band

Yes. I have all 3 and shaved with the 2020 this morning set on V (5) with a Feather blade. Hard to beat those Wolfman’s but it all depends on what setting you use on the 2020. LOOT can also respond to this.

It's smoother AND more efficient AND covers all gaps? So is this the best shaver you guys have ever tried?

I don’t have a 1.65 WR2 but I’ve got a 1.55 in SS and Ti.
In short, the 2020 Sailor is more efficient and shaves closer than the WR2’s.
Now, I will point out that I tend to run my Sailor wide open at the highest setting and at that gap it has more blade feel and is not as smooth as the WR2. However, on the lower settings, you can achieve similar smoothness and efficiency while still cutting closer than the WR2.
The cutting closer phenomena isn’t something I understand with the Sailor but somehow it does leave the longest BBS I’ve ever achieved from any razor of any type.
Could it replace my Wolfmen? Only in the fact that it shaves well and is extremely efficient but I still prefer the WR2 due to being able to more easily cruise control the razor and the fact that I find it more nimble than the Sailor.
Really looking forward to the Sailor in Ti coming next year!
