Are the lower settings on the Sailor also not amenable to cruise controlling a shave or do you need to pay attention with those too?

I think I might get this instead of a Wolfman because it's seemingly better and has all the gaps

I only used the lower settings when I initially received the Sailor so it’s been awhile and I’ve slept since then, haha. I will have to revisit it in several weeks when I get back home and will let you know.

To give me an idea, what is your current favorite razor?

If you don’t own a Wolfman, you have to have a WR2 because they’re just that good. If you’re really unsure then just purchase the head only and if you don’t like it you can sell it for what you paid on the BST. Also, when your number comes up please ask James if he will do it in Ti so hopefully he will start releasing those again. Also if you get a Ti and don’t care for it you can easily find a buyer for what you paid.

In the interim I’d buy a Yates razor with the H plate to carry you over (the EH plate is also coming soon) and then buy the Sailor in Ti next year.

My turn on the Wolfman list is coming up soon, I'm not sure if I should get a 1.55 or to get the SS 2020 Sailor right now new.

Do you think I should for sure wait for the titanium next summer? Has Murat confirmed that the design will be exactly the same, just with titanium instead? What if he makes design changes and it's not as good as the 2020 SS?

I could be wrong but I recall reading that the Ti will be the same price as the current model.
