First of all, it's Stirling, enough said, right? Smile

I went with the Gin & Tonic because I have found this to be a great soap for the summertime

A couple of years ago, Shannon's became one of my most used soaps.  Then the SAD kicked in and Shannon's started sliding to the rear of the shelf.  It's still one of my favorite bases and choosing a scent wasn't easy...i really considered Black Magic, Indigo Oud, Forest City Fern and Woodlands.  Not exactly sure why I ended up choosing Botanica but, honestly, there was no wrong choice here

they were making a soap for timeless razors at one point I think - and they might still be - that smelled fantastic. I can't remember the name of it off hand but we had it in 1 of the Movember boxes a few years back.

Funny....both of these are two of the very few that I haven't tried from Shannon's!

Laugar isn't posted on the Shave of the Day thread very often.  To me, this vegan base is one of the absolute best bases out there today.  It easily competes with the best of the best in terms of performance.  However, when it comes to the scents, well that may be the reason you don't see it as often.  Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the scents...they just aren't up to par with the best of the best.  And that's really too bad considering how good the base performs.  I ended going with Rimfrost for the rotation because there may be a chance I can finish the tub.  It and Skogsra have been used the most and, when it comes down to the scent, i have to lean more towards this Rimfrost.

Soap #11 - SV Stella Alpina - Again, just one of the absolute best bases available today.  And the scents are fantastic (at least most of them Smile ).  I decided to go with Stella Alpina for the very simple reason that I also have the AS in this scent.

BTW, this is soap #11.  I don't have any others set into the rotation but I left that 12th spot open because I know myself...the soap purchases won't stop completely.  It will be nice to have an open spot....just in case Smile
