Tried Orangeilla today, great stuff Ryan. I don’t know if different scents can have an effect on the base or not, but for me this one seemed even more creamy and luxurious than Kyoto the other V3 base soap I have.

I find the same with Himalaya in V2, it just always seems just a bit creamier.

They absolutely can have an effect on the base. You’re right about Himalaya, I find the same thing. It’s the best performing scent for me too.

What is the scent profile on Merry?

I just ordered some Tallow and Steel products and received them in the past week:

Dark, Boreal, Sicily, Madagascar. After some consultation with Ryan on these (I have to be careful to avoid fragrance irritation) I decided to go with these four. Zero irritation from the four and they are scented medium to strong in scent. I'm thrilled with this brand. The performance for me is up there with my two favorite performing artisans (Wholly Kaw/Declaration Grooming) and their scents are just incredible. The soaps are extremely slick and have lots of cushion and just a great face feel to them. I will be buying more of these products down the road. Top 3 Brand for me instantly.

The customer service from this gentleman is additionally top notch and he helped me immensely along the way.

Above is a link to trythatsoap. It smells a lot like everything you’d enjoy about Christmas. Peppermint reminisces candy canes and the vanilla is really nice in there. The performance of the soap is impeccable, very luxurious lather with lots of slickness. They are one company that has nailed down the 3 key things I look for
-ease of Lather
- slickness
- excellent post shave feel
All around this team has done their homework
