Pics of the last 2 shaves;

As much as I have loved the “Journals” section over the last year, I may switch over to just using the “SOTD” thread instead.

I’m off to shovel snow. The PNW got blasted with a massive snow/cold temp storm.

All good things must end some day, and yours will be missed if that is the path you settle on.  FWIW though, your decision is not really surprising.  You are raising a family, which needs your time, and running a successful shop, which, in addition to time, frequently requires more discretion than the openness which journals encourage.  Even so, I would not want to say goodbye to Stubble Daddy's Journal without saying that your commentary and insights here have been of great value to me.  Perhaps the journal will spring back to life at a better time, and until then I will enjoy crossing paths with you elsewhere.

Thanks Mike. For me, it’s more of an attempt to focus my pic/gear sharing activity to 1 thread, rather than several that all feel like overlap to some degree. The SOTD seems like the best spot since it gets a little more daily action. Plus, I’m kinda tired of talking about soap bases in my Journal Wink

But yes, my free time (aka forum time) also seems to be shrinking these days. I’m now back at the Refinery for close to 10 hours a day. When my Dad duties are done for the evening and the little ones are asleep, I try to sneak out to the Shop!

Looking forward to 2022 with each of you here on DFS!

All the best,
Paul

I know I will miss the interactions, but they'll still take place, just not as quickly as I am accustomed to! I have been on DFS for over 5 years, and there are busy times and slower times. It is the way things are. All the best to you!

Is the second snap showing your stuff? (I presume, rather than you posting a photo you found online?!)
