Razor: Razorock Wunderbar Slant
Brush: Elite 3-band 26mm
Soap: DG Trismegistus
Aftershave: Trotter Handcrafts
Blade: Voskhod

An outstanding shave thanks to the Wunderbar + Voskhod combo! The Elite is one of only 2, 3-bands I own. It's a true pleasure to use. Very soft (as you would expect from a 3-band), but not overly floppy!

Anxious to try it as I'm not overly but somewhat fussy about what i use as far as face feel from things. Thanks Paul and great shave today !

Decided to give my face a break from shaving today...

Made a handle for myself instead!

Shown with a 26mm SHD knot.

Thanks guys. Just set a SHD FAN knot in it. I think the fan shape will compliment the handle a bit better than the bulb. Gonna shoot for using it for tomorrow’s shave... stay tuned!

Razor: Yates H-Plate
Brush: Trotter Handcrafts w/ 26mm SHD Fan Knot
Soap: A&E Cannabliss Santal
Aftershave: Trotter Handcrafts - Post Shave Toner
Blade: Voskhod

I was really excited for this shave today. New brush handle, new SHD knot, new soap sample...

Thoroughly enjoyed the handle and knot. And yes, I'm a bit biased Smile I make brush handles every week, but rarely keep any for myself! The Fan splays out a bit more than the same 26mm SHD Bulb and is a bit different, yet a very good experience.

Now the soap - the scent was awesome... very herbal, heady hints of light powder and sandalwood. Very complex and well executed scent. I would buy a full tub of this in a heartbeat.... HOWEVER, sadly it burned my face. This is not the first A&E soap to do this to me.... and I definitely do not have sensitive skin at all. Really bummed. I had to cut the shave to a short 3-pass rather than my relaxed 4-pass with touch-ups Sad

On the plus side, the Yates continues to win me over. I highly recommend the H plate... and the hybrid M plate too!

Not the first time I heard that about A&E. I don't know what it is, but they seem to tend towards irritating skin.

That always sucks. Your supposed to enjoy the shave, a relaxing zen type thing. Very hard to do with irritation.

Well, tomorrow's another day (and shave).
