Razor: RR Wunderbar Stainless Slant
Brush: modified Yari with 24-mm mixed boar/badger knot.
Soap: Noble Otter Rawr
Aftershave: 4711
Blade: Tatra

Nice shave today with this gear. Big fan of the Wunderbar. I don’t usually like slants, but when I do....

Rawr has an amazing scent IMO. It’s just perfect. Yes, you could call it summery and happy... but to me it mostly smells like a very high-end spa. The way the Cosmopolitan Resort in Vegas smells when they pump it full of ultra pure oxygen and overpriced everything  Smile

4711 has been a big favorite of mine. The scent fades quickly, but I do love it. The old history behind the company and its notable users (JFK, Napoleon, etc) is also very interesting.

Oh, and the Tatra blade is definitely impressing me. I plan to stock up on these soon.

Razor: Wolfman WR2 1.25
Brush: Elite 26mm
Soap: La Toja Cream
Aftershave: RR 888
Blade: Feather

Good, close shave. La Toja cream is a long-time favorite. I could probably live happily ever after with just La Toja and Tabac to be honest. I’m starting to dabble back in the crazy artisan soaps after a long hiatus, but they just don’t do it for me like La Toja and Tabac.

The Wolfman is a close shaver, but I’ve never fully bonded with it for some reason. Maybe it’s just too nice. I’m the utilitarian type who typically doesn’t like polished anything in life. My love for Wolfman is purely in the machining excellence.

The RR 888 aftershave is a real bargain. So much skin food for such a low price. Love the feel.

Happy Friday evening my Friends. Have a wonderful weekend!

. . . One other thing Paul:  I’m a fan of La Toja cream myself, but I have only seen the cream in a tube. Is that something different?  —. thx.

EDIT:  I have the stick too.  (Forgot about that at 0-dark 30). Did the La Toja in the photo begin life as a stick?

Hi

I squeezed an entire tube of the cream into this container. You can buy this container from Maggards for $3 each. They are very high quality and made in the USA.
