Ooh, I didn't even read BPman post as a 'smell alike'. I thought he was just using OS as an example of a soap where the Lime fades fast leaving a "not what you expected" experience.

Whatever the case, I'm with Freddy, it's done by a good house with a known scent artist... It should work out well. Time (& reviews) will tell us for sure.

I didn't, I mentioned it as an example only in that almost all lime scents are fleeting at best with few exceptions. Let's wait for the reports from the field.

I just ordered a set from Top of the Chain so we’ll see what comes out. I have high expectations based on historical releases.

I have completed two shaves with the Sea Spice Lime Soap and the Aftershave Toner (non alcohol). The fragrance is now my all time "top lime scent". I love lime, and have all of those currently on the market, as well as many vintage (20+, including 1966-70 Hawaiian Surf). This is not a "pure" lime scent, such as Castle Forbes. It has many notes that combine like none other I have experienced. It is like getting hit with a wave from a "tropical spicy lime sea". This new scent from Seaforth (Spearhead Shaving Co.) is a winner. The soap has great slickness and protection.  It creates fantastic lather with a badger or synthetic brush. The aftershave toner makes your skin feel great, and the scent actually lasts for 6 to 8 hours (unbelievably). I ordered the EDT to go with the soap and aftershave toner, to complete the experience. Highly recommended for those who like lime fragrances...but this one has been "kicked up a notch".

I shaved with Sea Spice Lime yesterday and agree with Captainjonny   it’s great!   Happy2  The Spearhead base is excellent. Rich, slick and creamy. Dennis takes his time with product development and the does a great job with execution. The scent is very well done. Now if only Dennis would consider a bay rum  Big Grin

In case you all didn't get the email, Spearhead Shaving is having a one year anniversary celebration and sale on October 1- they will be releasing Seaforth Lime Bath Soap, Seaforth Spiced EDT and giving 20% off all Heather and Spiced products including EDT.  Great deal on great products - I would wear Spiced EDT  Happy2

I concur, the lime is great! The Heather is well done too but not really my style. I’d recommend it for fans of Brut.

It is Oct 1 and there is nothing on the site about 20% off.  The Lime Bath Soap states "coming soon".
I did not get the email for some reason, even though I am a customer, signed up for emails, and have purchased directly.
Is there an anniversary discount code?
Thanks for your heads-up about the sale.
