It's really good stuff! I have to say that Desmond's Barrow is a very good soap. This soap has a nice citrus scent plus a nice mellow menthol hit. The technical aspect is top notch. It allows for an excellent shave with minimal effort. I'm very happy with this shaving soap. I have two scents now and would like to pick up additional scents at this point. I highly recommend it.

+1
I have to agree with Rob's assessment of this soap as I find it to be one of the best I have ever tried. It is really superb!
I only have the unscented version, so I am not able to comment on the scents.

Razor: Supply Provision Custom 3 dot head
Blade: Chick
Brush: That Darn Rob silvertip
Soap: Stirling Gentleman
Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel
Alum
Aftershave: Stirling Gentleman
Travel shave today and first use of the Stirling Gentleman, I really like this soap and AS. The usual Stirling easy lathering, slickness and protection with a wonderful scent. The water here is very soft, I'm used to Phoenix hard water but with just a little more load time there was plenty of soap. It was a great way to end the day. Have a great day folks!
