Hope nobody minds me posting my Saturday's shave in this thread  Wink .

Saturday:

- Eufros Premium "Vetiver de Haiti"
- Edwin Jagger Kelvin+Gillette Sharp Edge
- Whipped Dog&Maggards 22 mm Synthetic brush
- Speick+Eufros Neutro balm

My favorite soap for cold, rainy weather. It was all going well, a perfect shave until I made some weird move with my hand and managed to slice a tiny bit of my chin's skin with my blade, causing it to bleed quite a bit. As I realized that it was not going to stop easily, I just let it bleed freely and went on with my shave. Three smooth passes and a BBS outcome, but I still had a hemorrhage to deal with  Cry   Big Grin . It wouldn't stop with neither the alum block nor the Proraso gel, so I just applied pressure with my towel for a few minutes and it did stop, then I applied some Proraso gel and it was good to go. I've read some folks stating that it is almost impossible to get cut with the 89 head. Well, if you do mess up, you can definitely get cut, you bet!  Wink .

Sunday

- Eufros Premium Tallow "Kasbah"
- Merkur Slant 37C+Feather #1
- Whipped Dog&Virginia Shaving 2 Band
- Tüff+Eufros Neutro balm

Eufros apotheosis. I had forgotten about my 37C for a while, as it is easier to reach for the Edwin Jagger if I'm running short of time, but this Merkur gives me the closest and smoothest shaves. It just demands a bit more skill and attention from the user's side, but the result is well worth it. BBS with no incidents.

Monday

- MWF
- Merkur 37C+Feather #2
- Semogue 1305
- Tüff Sensitive+Eufros balm

Let's go back to the classics. Boar brush and MWF. An abundant, rich and protective lather, enough for three passes and comfort. Today I did get a couple of red dots. Perhaps I was a bit careless, but they were no big deal. The comfort lather was enough to stop them.

I'm sticking with the Eufros balm, because even though I own a few others (Bulldog and Korres amongst the one I use more) and those are good balms, none of them gets close to this. This balm is a couple of steps above anything I've tried so far.
