It was such a great day out today I decided to treat myself to an “All Gillette Vintage Shave”. Over the years I’ve been hoarding numerous vintage items for a special occasion. A while back I decided I’d better stop waiting for special occasions that may never come, so I started using them up. I want to enjoy them, not have someone throw them in the trash in the event of my demise. Anyway, all items were the good old stuff. The blade, the Sun Up, and the cream (blue and white box) are done; that was the last of it. They were great! Sure wish they still made Sun Up. The knot in the brush is on its last legs so I am sending it to someone who can reknot it and enjoy it. The razor is great but just a little too mild for me. I am selling it to a person who was born in 52.

Well, it was a great shave. It was like going back in time; I’ll miss these old friends.
