I've been using these two fine razors for three days, comparing them. I'm finding the H&S is a bit smoother than the WR1. They are very similar in terms of efficiency, with a slight edge to the WR1.

First go-around with the GP hot scuttle.  Beautiful craftsmanship.  It’s pretty massive.  Gonna have to get over the mental distraction of what will likely happen if I abdicate custody and control, and The Law of Gravity takes over.....  It reminds me of what Dan, the taciturn Harley-riding, long-haul trucker/carpenter told me, thirty-eight years ago right after he grabbed the front of my T-shirt and pulled me back from the brink of falling backwards off the second story of a construction site.  I said “THANKS!!!” and he said: “Gravity, ... our Friend, our Foe.”
