[in that Christopher Walken tone from the Blue Oyster Cult SNL skit] "I need more styptic!"
Yup, I got bit this morning. By the Parker injector, right on the kisser (lower lip, owwww). And I had a telemed meeting. So it looked like I had just eaten some chocolate and left a piece right in the middle of my lower lip!! Oh the indignity of it all
See, what happened is that whilst shaving below my lip, a spot that is historically tricky for me (I don't know how Cary Grant managed that dimple in his chin!), a velociraptor entered the bathroom and snarled, making me lose focus and nick myself. [reality: Eric's mind/attention drifted away since the Parker is such a care-free shaving tool, and therefore paid the price of wielding a sharp object near his face and not paying attention]
In better news, this was shave 10 on a Schick and still provided a great shave (excluding the above moment) on setting 5.
In best news department, my wife is recovering very well and the new device is doing its job. Unlike the previous neuro-stim implant, this new one has no metal, so she can get an MRI if needed, and doesn't require a minor surgical procedure every 5 years to replace a battery. Just like some mobile phones, she now has some sort of pad to put on her hip and allow her to charge her neuro-stim. I am trying not to say "Sit on it, Potsie!" as that might be considered provoking!!
This shave brought to you by the letters S & P. Schick, Shannon's Soaps, Summer SynBad, and Parker.
Hope you all have a good week!
