On day three of daily shaves with the Vector. A light touch, as GearNoir put it, and all is good. Dave in KY mentioned his shave today, writing " I got a smooth and close shave [with his Vector] that has me in total comfort, Aaaaahhh."  Let me echo that!! So if you were listening closely, you may have heard Aaaaaahhhh in stereo, if you live between Maine and Kentucky  Tongue

I’m glad to hear things went well. Take good care of your wife. I can only speak for myself but I have so much to be grateful for and I count my wife and family at the top of the list.

Well said, and thank you for the kind words.

Today was the fifth day in a row for the Vector. The only blood was from nicking a pimple-like thing. Acne at 56?! In the summer while at the dermatologist for a rosacea check up, I asked, as many folks were complaining about it at the pharmacy (about their acne, not mine). The doc said that they were referring to it as "mask-ne" in the trade journals. Apparently the fabric rubbing on the skin is causing the problem.

Anywho, the point was supposed to be about the Vector! I can use it daily, with the light touch and being careful.

For the next few days, I plan to use the Parker injector. It is more care-free so I will probably fall back into bad habits!

I've had trouble with it lately from wearing the mask too. Frustrating but I'll deal with it to be safe for me and others  Cool

[in that Christopher Walken tone from the Blue Oyster Cult SNL skit] "I need more styptic!"  Confused

Yup, I got bit this morning. By the Parker injector, right on the kisser (lower lip, owwww).  And I had a telemed meeting. So it looked like I had just eaten some chocolate and left a piece right in the middle of my lower lip!!  Oh the indignity of it all  Blush

See, what happened is that whilst shaving below my lip, a spot that is historically tricky for me (I don't know how Cary Grant managed that dimple in his chin!), a velociraptor entered the bathroom and snarled, making me lose focus and nick myself.  [reality: Eric's mind/attention drifted away since the Parker is such a care-free shaving tool, and therefore paid the price of wielding a sharp object near his face and not paying attention]

In better news, this was shave 10 on a Schick and still provided a great shave (excluding the above moment) on setting 5.

In best news department, my wife is recovering very well and the new device is doing its job. Unlike the previous neuro-stim implant, this new one has no metal, so she can get an MRI if needed, and doesn't require a minor surgical procedure every 5 years to replace a battery.  Just like some mobile phones, she now has some sort of pad to put on her hip and allow her to charge her neuro-stim.  I am trying not to say "Sit on it, Potsie!" as that might be considered provoking!!  Tongue

This shave brought to you by the letters S & P. Schick, Shannon's Soaps, Summer SynBad, and Parker.

Hope you all have a good week!
