The Deets-
Overcast and very windy today and I thought I would brighten the day with some Aramis. The soap has been long discontinued, but MWF works well as a stand in. This puck will need to be replaced soon, it is almost gone. Whipped up a nice lather and got to it.

20 laps on linen and 60 on leather and it was go time. I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Great shave! Finished it up with a quick rinse and towel dry. Then a dab of the ASB and everything was right as rain. BBS and smelling great! Life is good!

The Deets-
I was rocking the same kit this week until I received a scuttle from Ken. I had been thinking of adding a modern scuttle to the mix and Eric mentioned the PAA scuttle. It looked good and had an unbeatable price. I almost pulled the trigger on that one.

That was until I got a PM from Ken offering the GP scuttle. It came in this week and was put into action. Although not in the pic today, I used the new scuttle yesterday and today. Man I’m digging the scuttle too. Life is good!

Another very nice shave today. But the razor does need to go back to the stones. Also had the scuttle on deck for a nice warm lather too. Three smooth passes and I am BBS for the win! Mostly a chill day with steaks on the grill here in a bit. Easter egg hunt with the grandkids after church tomorrow. Life is good!

The Deets-
I have been using the Stirling Intrepid Man the last few days. I was gifted the soap and picked up the AS earlier this week. The scent is subtle, but it’s a nice scent. I’ll hang onto this one for a while. So I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. And I walked away BBS for the win! Hit the aftershave and everything was right as rain! You know it. Life is good!

Home Front-
So … it’s been a few days. Sunday night our water heater went out and one of the garage door springs broke. Geez. Got a repair a repair man out late Monday to get the water heater running. It had several issues, but he got it running and he is recommending a replacement. I am waiting on a couple of other quotes to come in for that … ouch. Got my shave on Sunday before the water heater quit. Had to shave Monday night once I got the hot water back. And no, just no on that cold water crap. Yesterday the garage door people came out and replaced the spring, so that’s fixed. Oh and the misses had eye surgery on her right eye yesterday. So far, everything is looking good.

Poor Tim!  You and Dave are running neck-and-neck for the When It Rains It Pours prize.  I hope the missus heals quickly and completely Tim, and good luck getting a deal on the water heater.
