Thanks Celestino. Really want to enjoy the shiny polished and efficiency but miss the mindless shaves I think I remember it before polished. Can't decide if I should keep or let it go.....

One shave on each of the 72 and 95 plates so far, and really enjoying this thing. The head profile is even a smidge slimmer than the GC, if you can believe it. High efficiency with good comfort. Need some more shaves before giving a more detailed report. So far, so good.

Probably not as much as it sounds and I'll see after tomorrow's shave. It may be in my head..........................crazy voices...

Hey Dave, you could always just try a blade like Tatra Platinum. 
It can smooth a razor that you find has slightly more bite than you want.

Can anyone explain why the DC version has the milder blade gap on the OC side? It seems counterintuitive in that the OC side is typically used on the 1st pass WTG to remove most of the facial hair. Wouldn’t one want that 1st pass to be more aggressive?

That's a thought, never tried them but Wizamets are pretty smooth and my go to. I'll try them as well.

My theory. On the WTG pass, I want as much efficiency and blade as possible. Going ATG (2nd pass), I find that a bit less exposure makes for a smoother shave. Also, the OC could be good here as it leaves a bit of lather for buffing in later passes. This doesn‘t have to be true for all razors, but would be nice to have one around where I have this as an option.
