Got this as a response from RR...

It's a mild shaver, not very aggressive in my opinion.

We don't publish stats on the aluminum razors.

Kind Regards,
Tom

Thanks for the info, if he produces a more aggressive one, preferably in stainless steel, i'm in, otherwise i will pass on this one.

Other side of the coin here... I like a mild, tech like shave. This is probably a good one for me. Also, wouldn't mind an aluminum shaver (though I do love my SS Rockwell). Something different, I guess. :-)

They are good business people. Based on past practice there will be a more aggressive version once the appetite for this one is satisfied

Yep, bought a few things from them over the past year and change. Good folks, imo too. I guess my pasting of the response doesn't show the timeframe, but I got an answer within hours. Darn quick, imo. :-)

You can always shim it. I used 2 shims on the original Mamba to get it to my preferred efficiency until the GameChanger was later released at successively larger gaps. Let's hope Joe continues with his business model releasing improved or more aggressive models in different metals once the initial (less expensive) model runs its course.

loooong time been away. just kinda wanted some time away from forums. i grabbed both the lupo and the switch along with the .87 game changer. ill report back once they arrive. ill also compare the lupo to both my actual wolfmans to see how it compares.

Just received my Lupo in the mail today and am excited to try it out.

Not 100% but definitely believe it is based on the WR1 model as the post is different to my WR2 (Lupo is reminiscent of the post from a feather AS-D2).

Only other issue I see (not really an issue per say) is that it does have an indentation for a washer between the head and handle but is much larger then the one I have on a WR2. Not sure what washer this uses if any (maybe it is more of an aesthetics thing).

I don't have a WR1 to compare to so I may be way off base here seeing as the two models are quite different.

I would say the Lupo is definitely a WR1 copy and its top cap fits my WR1. I have only one shave in but I would say it is close to the .61 WR1
