New entry with design cues that clearly come from the Gibbs 15/17 Regable and without a doubt the Rex Ambassador. States it's made entirely from Brass & CNC machined to precise tolerances. Looks like quality and most likely at a more economical price compared to the Rex. Link below.....

Looks to me like China just copied another razor, the Rex Ambassador.  Not for me. I am fine when artisans try to bring back vintage styles that are no longer being made but to copy a razor that is currently available is wrong in my book.

My apologies, wrong country, still wrong in my book to copy a currently available product.

I haven't had a chance to watch any of the YouTube Reviews yet, but Matt (of Razor Emporium) did a teardown and wasn't impressed. You have to take his assessment with a grain of salt since they clearly copied his Ambassador design, but of the 3 he ordered, one came with a head that wasn't level, and they're full of uncoated internal parts that have a good chance of fast deterioration.

I'll stick with my Ambassador.

Garrett, just curious if you have a link to Matt's video review.

In each case I have taken the time to write detailed reviews. I have enjoyed reading other people give reviews when they do and if they don’t write reviews I don’t mind at all.

And in several cases I have ended up purchasing because of the passaround, where I otherwise might not have. I purchased an H&S, a Carbon, a Timeless, and a Homelike and participating in the passarounds helped convince me to buy in each of these cases.

It wasn't a video, just a few pictures in one of the Facebook groups. I doubt he would do a video 'review' of that particular razor on his RE channel. Bit of a conflict of interest.
