Put in a Feather Super Pro blade and you will experience a more aggressive, still smooth and efficient shave.

I agree. Transformed the razor for me and still not overly aggressive feeling. Still very mild just more efficient.

I agree too. I am wondering if anyone knows of a DE equivalent? Very mild but really efficient?

I was not completely fond of the high polished finish. I definitely prefer brushed finishes on my razors. I decided to change the finish to brushed. I am super pleased with end result and think it looks killer. It turned out better than I could have expected and looks better in person than in the pictures. Anyway, here are some photos of my "new" brushed Paradigm SE.

Love that and have always preferred the brushed finish too. Did you do the head too? How did you go about the process of doing a brushed finish?

I did both the head handle. I have a post on TSN that details the complete steps that I took to do it. It was pretty easy actually, but I was pretty worried I would mess it up.

That looks awesome. I personally prefer matte/brushed finishes on my razors. Do you think the brushed finish improve the handle grip?

Usually a matte or brushed finish has a better grip than polished

I can confirm that it did improve the grip. The grip on the high gloss isn't terrible, but this new finish is better. This surprised me a little because the new surface is not rough. It is smooth but the grip is definitely improved.
