I lately noticed the razor is available in West Coast Shaving for pre-order.
https://www.westcoastshaving.com/collect...-pre-order
The price is $239.99. Made of 303 stainless steel. 0.8 blade gap. 114 grams. Looks like no mirror polishing.
It notes the razor might be in warehouse in September 16th.
Some of you might be interested.

When I compare to 17-4 (Sale price $230):

1) Diamondback is $10 more expensive.

2) As much as my basic google search (might be wrong): 17-4 material and machining cost is almost double of 303 steel.

3) In Wolfman website, the mirror polishing is almost equal to 50% of the total cost.
17-4 has mirror polishing unlike Diamondback.

I honestly cannot understand why this razor is more expensive than 17-4.

I just compared the head to my Paradigm Javelin and it might be the same, could be he just changed the name but it's difficult to say based on pictures, maybe there where some changes in the head also. Anyway if it shaves anything like the Javelin it will be a hit.

Was the Javelin a prototype or was it a release in limited edition? I am surprised that Andy, who started with Titanium, then 17-4 has now gone to 303 SS.

the javelin was a prototype, believe 5 pieces in all.

Looks like a nice razor, sure it will do well.

If it cuts as close as, say, The Blackbird, but is a few notches smoother, could be an attractive
proposition.

I believe the plan was always to offer this with a different handle. There is a lot of info on the WCS Diamondback listing.

Handle looks good and continues the Paradigm “look” but no mention of its length.

I was OK from Titanium to 17-4, since he dropped the price from $395 to $230.
But from 17-4 to 303, it is weird to pay more for 303.

I was wondering about the length myself. Hopefully, someone knows and will post it here.
