It could be cool. If you come with an aggressive Ti SE, after Javelin release.
Or we have not seen any Ti Adjustable on the market, yet.

Talk about mirror! The detail replicated is superb.

I try to keep the collection small and last summer I sold off my RS-10 as I found I could get equally enjoyable shaves from my Blackbird, and didn’t see any purpose for keeping the RS. I didn’t mind the extra blade feel.

A little further down the road, I picked up a General V2 and the efficiency and smoothness were fantastic. I really cannot express how great this razor was for my face.

And after 4-5 months with the General V2, I think I’ve found its successor. I’ll certainly keep the General, as AC shaves differently than DE, but this Diamondback is a winner.

It’s cold as hell up here in Ontario (even for April) today so I busted out the Leviathan. Just like all others mentioned, this thing is smooth and efficient.

The finish and weight remind me of the quality of the RS, but I’m a bigger fan of the Diamondback aesthetic. The angle was easy to find, And I loved the audible feedback. It’s very different to my ear than other razors I’ve used and enjoyed it. 2 passes and done, what more could you ask for.

Thank you Paradigm!

Well I made the mistake of reading through 16 pages of this thread yesterday (damn lock-down!) after having owned the WCS version of the Diamonback. I wasn't impressed with the finish on that razor and sold it. But the reviews in this thread, Andy's responsiveness to questions, and the amazing comparative pictures were just too much for me to resist so I ordered one last night and received my shipping notice this morning (thanks Andy!). I'm looking forward to receiving the razor and contributing to this thread as well.

Don't recall encountering a stronger group of enablers Smile

@"SOCALS1KRR" welcome to DFS as it appears that was your first post. Great group here. I would send Andy an email which you can do thru his website to let him know you want one. He is very responsive to emails.

Well first shave is in the books with the DB. Overall I’m happy. What everyone else has said so far I can echo for the most part. Great looking razor that I felt had a good feel in the hand. The pictures up to this point had me thinking this was going to be a really big razor but it wasn’t overly cumbersome in size or weight. My handle once the blade was inserted tightened in a way that allowed the flats of the handle to lie in the same horizontal plane as the razor head. This was an aesthetic concern of mine that happily was a non issue. Minimal blade feel and some audible feedback but not as much as say my old level 2 Charcoal for instance. My first pass on 3 day growth went well. Not as efficient in my opinion as my 1.15 or 1.25 on my first pass at least but not a slouch either. Second pass had me at a comfortable close final result. This razor for me is a nice comfortable mid level efficiency razor. A couple of objective critiques to give an honest review... the razor head cap has an area on the side that I guess the polishing missed as there’s a definitive demarcation from brushed/satin to polished in that area. Also the underside of the cap polish is not at the same level as that rest of the cap and is still more of a satin type finish there. It’s even but not at the same level as the rest of the razor. Lastly when I tried to reassemble the razor head for the first time the handle would not screw in after a few attempts. Perplexed I made sure not to force the issue and I gently unscrewed the handle and to my surprise a good bit of metal powder/ shavings I assume from milling came out of the handle. I gave the whole thing a gentle rinse and tooth brushing with dish soap to clean the bore bit and it proceeded to screw-in properly. First time encountering that. Overall I like the razor but I wouldn’t classify it as aggressive in any way and I’d say it’s moderately efficient for my face and beard type. This shave was with a new Wizamet Iridium Super. I’ll use this blade a couple of more times and then try a Feather to see the effect on efficiency if any. Either way I’m glad I grabbed it as I can see it will have appeal to a wide variety of shavers and like most things Paradigm probably ultimately limited in number.
