My thanks to all who've posted commentary and reviews or contributed to the massive thread here. After spending the last 3 or 4 days reading all about the OneBlade, I finally rationalized paying 10x the cost of the EJ I currently use (which with my thick whiskers/sensitive skin leaves me  irritated and burned if I'm not careful) and upgrading to the milder OB.

Needless to say, when I went to place the order and noticed the $199 special offer back on the table I was ecstatic! Hopefully those who were waiting for a smoking deal on the OB are able to get in on it this time around.

Cheers!

let us know how it does with your skin. I suspect my skin/hair and yours are similar.

edited to add: is there a coupon code needed to get it for $200?

I'll be sure to share my experience in the big OB thread after I've had a chance to try it. My facial hair is only medium coarse, but it grows in fast and dense and there's a lot of it. Typically I have to shave everyday. Here's the code I used:

You can also google oneblade special offers and find it on the same page with the free brush/soaps offer.

They have two coupons - $199 for the razor and a pack of blades and $299 for a kit.

I received the $299 kit as a gift. My take is that oneBlade really has created a better mousetrap and that $199 is a deal. I was not impressed with the rest of the $299 kit.

I definitely wouldn't buy the kit myself. heck, I don't even need the case the razor comes in...but as far as I'm aware, they don't offer it without the case.

You guys almost had me buying a One Blade today.

I opened the site and added one to the cart. I then put in the code to see if it worked and sure enough it did. Nice, I can save $100. Then I thought to myself what the hell am I doing I don't even want a OneBlade. So I closed the page and that was that. Purchase avoided.

I am curious after reading all of the great reviews so I would like to try one in a passaround if anyone knows of one going on.

My thinking would be as follows. Anyone with sensitive skin that has never been able to get a good shave with other razors would do well to get one while they are on sale.

Wow! Good for you. That close to the abyss and you were able to pull yourself back. Not many mere mortals are that strong.
