A 'con' is fraud, which this is not, as you know exactly what you are paying for. Don't like what you get for your money, don't buy it. I'm not. But for those who do, it is their money, and I am happy for them if it makes them happy.

And, in my opinion, those who tell others what they should spend or not spend their own hard-earned money on, deserve not only a 'kick in the nuts', but need to get a life as well.

Ravi, from TSN, was showing pictures of his off as a gift from OneBlade.  His original though, he claims to of paid for out-of-pocket.  He was one of the first people to have given an in depth review when not many other people were giving it a chance. OneBlade is now a sponsor of TSN, and Ravi is an admin there.

I think Ravi gave an unbiased favorable review (paid for with his own time and money) , OneBlade worked out a sponsorship, and OneBlade sent a gift. Sounds fair enough to me.

But so far, Bruce, I haven't seen anybody else pushing it. Do you have a name or a web link?

All I can do is Smile and all I can say is that some will sacrifice a friendship for a freebie.

Back to the topic at hand. I agree with the comment that at the regular price, and better yet, the 190.00 ish special price, it could be doable. In the meantime I'm ok with the one I already have.

The original may be priced accordingly. The Black coating is a swindle. It is what it is Len.

You may think I'm splitting hairs here,  but a con or swindle it is not, as this suggests criminal activity...

Grossly overpriced, certainly. Confused

It just looks like OneBlade is running a con game on this 'Limited Edition.'
Something tells me we will never see someone on the forums actually purchase one.

There may be the odd one pop up (as we have seen), but for the odd person who actually spends money on it ($2500), they probably aren't on the forums. A CEO's wife, a GM of a large business etc, but no regular workingman is going to shell out money for one.

Since this thread is about the LE version, I think it's a ridiculous amount of money and too many produced to demand that amount. 100 razors isn't really an LE in the wet shaving community, especially given the price. These things will be around for years or given away to show their generosity and appear in SOTD pics to persuade people to buy the regular production model. It may turn out to be a smart business move as the razor probably doesn't cost any more then the normal one to make.

All evidence has been buried, all tapes have been erased.

Oh dear what a quandry.
Should I fire my valet and chauffeur and buy a One Blade?
Or should I keep those faithful servants and still tell everybody I have a Rolls --------------------- Razor?

What to do? What to do?

There is no con, scam or swindle here.
It's a highly priced collector's edition of the razor.
You people need to calm down and stop calling everything you think is outrageously priced a con/swindle.
Also, to say that anyone who buys one deserves a kick to the nuts is just equally ridiculous. Don't want one. Don't buy one. Don't like the topic don't read threads about it.
