First shave. Loaded a Feather Pro Super as they are slightly thicker (wider) then the Pros. My soap was Phoenix Shaving  pineapple bay rum which has clay in it so the soap requires a lot of water.  I also used a Frank Shaving silvertip brush. This razor shaves so smooth and close with little effort. However, using this razor with the blade combination I would easily rate it for aggressiveness at 8/10. Although the head is a bit bulky it was no problem getting into tight areas (under the nose). The finish of this razor is spectacular although when I got it yesterday it required some clean up. The handle gave some resistance when I screwed it into the head so I took a cotton swap and cleaned out the threads of the handle. I do this with all new handles. This one had black residue in it. Also the bottom plate had dirt but that came off easily with soap and water. To me it was well worth the money.

Excellent shave report. Even with a regular Proline, I felt the razor was more aggressive than my Brass General.

Thanks. I really like the Pro Supers. Great value for your money. Always very sharp out of the box.

It sounds like the angle is relatively small to maximise smoothness on the RX

Yeah, just watched Dave in KY’s video and it was very, very good. Nice and straightforward, with all the information and context needed and no fluff. Sounds like it’s a razor I would like if I wanted something with a touch more efficiency than the Vector, which I might.

Dave, I wish your face a speedy recovery ?

Edit: watched Fedsbackhand video too now. Very informative. You’re nuts, which is great. And I admire how clean your bathroom ceiling is.

I’m glad the razor is good for both of you guys.

Uh, that's not me. Just a video I found on youtube.

The RX hasn't arrived on our shores yet. Curious about this razor but have too many AC razors already.

Thanks, all recovered. It stays dry and touchy around the mouth all winter as I work outside and never moisturize....... I guess I should but that's how I roll Big Grin

Oh, thank god for that. I didn’t want to offend by saying anything, but I was thinking Roger Federer must have had a tough time of it lately to be so out of condition. Booze and pills, one could only assume. But now it’s a relief to learn this isn’t Federer at all, and maybe he does have one more grand slam in him.
