wyzeOne,
All the furniture is from Ikea including the sink. The furniture had to be assembled. Some job.
The light and plumbing fixtures are brushed stainless as it does not show water spots as does glossy metal. They are from local suppliers.
The brush racks are individual pieces that I bought from Frank Shaving in China. They were 98 cents each. They may have increased. They come in cream, black and transparent colourless which I prefer as it goes with any colour. I have seen similar ones for $4.95 and $8.95 each at "upper class" shaving equipment suppliers..
I made the razor racks from 1/4" x 1-5/8" pine. I just measured it. I always asked for 1-1/2". Perhaps it's just the piece I picked up. I am not too particular.
I drilled 1/2" holes for the razor handles but some razors require larger or even oval holes. A file accommodates their needs easily. The lumber is from Home Depot.
I cut the length of the lower rack 1/16" longer than its space to make a tight friction fit.
For the upper one I wanted an arch so I cut it even longer. The pine is flexible.
Both of them rest on the 1/4" x 1"square strips described below.
I did not want to drill holes in the wall or the shower frame in case I wanted to change the racks locations. On each side I glued a 1/4" square strip by 1" long with fish glue which is very strong but can be removed with warm water. It does not smell fishy.
Two caveats.
1. The fancy metal plug for the sink requires a lot of strength to remove it. I use a smooth staple remover. I am going to speak to Ikea about them.
2. Drill the holes in the razor racks far enough back from the front edge so the heads do not protrude.
