Thank you for that wonderful, extraordinary treat. Beethoven's 9th.
I could go one raving for hours.
Never have I heard nor seen such sheer beauty or perfection.

Thanks Mickey. As a teenager, it was listening to Beethoven that made me realize I really did like classical music. From there, I became open to other genres such as some jazz, opera, etc. One of the few genres I cannot get my head around is rap/hip-hop. I find it disjointed and completely uninvolving. It simply doesn't make me think or dream or take me to another place. It's just there to irritate, as far as I'm concerned. However, as always, YMMV and these are my thoughts alone. I'm probably in the minority but that's okay.
This jazz piece was one of the first in that genre that I took to. I liked the song so much that I bought the same named album and, eventually, the CD. I still listen to it from time to time.
