It is really unfortunate that brush makers started this trend as it detracts from the simplicity and beauty of the handle, especially, if you are photographing them for your SOTD pics.

My 28mm ZT1 is set at ~48.5mm and my 26mm ZT2 is set at ~49mm.
Love them both but the lower loft on the ZT1 is a backbone monster badger pillow that might not be for everyone but I love it.
Don’t get me wrong about the ZT2 though because it’s by no means inferior. The tips are softer than ZT1 but lately in these winter months I’ve just preferred the extra scrub from the ZT1.
I also really appreciate that Brett will set your knot at whatever loft you want because he’s an awesome guy and he provides a truly custom experience.
